They found their victims thanks to classified ads on the internet

Four young people were called on Tuesday, June 22nd. They stole more particularly the motorcycles of cross. Here are their operating modes:

« Private individuals, wishing to sell their motorcycle, put a classified ad on the french site leboncoin.fr. The gangsters contact them, being been supposed to be for potential buyers, to try the bikes.

Once the meeting was taken, the thieves arrive for two: the one leaves trying the motorcycle and never returns while the other one flees on foot, by splashing the salesman of teargas if this one struggles. Only once, they paid but ... with Counterfeit. Not to be located, the thieves create numerous addresses artificial e-mails. To call the salesmen, they have prepaid phone cards of which they get rid after every theft. The prizes of the stolen dirtbikes is spread out between 1000 and 2000 €. The motorcycle are then sold in the cities of Evry, Grigny or Corbeil-Essonnes. Some are made up, the others are put back on sale on leboncoin.fr. »

Attention according to the article of the Parisien, this operating mode is very wide-spread in the Essonne, The Oise and Seine-et-Marne, for 2 years.
